I loved it!
It was my first trip to Africa, and choosing Chiefs Tours as my travel agency was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Climbing Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, was certainly not an easy task. I got terrible altitude sickness, and the summit day was one of the most difficult days of my life. So, Julius, my guide, had changed my climbing routine to be more adaptable to the mountain's high altitude, and it worked well.
When I was planning my trip to Tanzania, I was able to locate a number of tour companies. Chiefs Tours, on the other hand, has one of the most reasonable prices of any company I looked into. Even though they had a much lower price than others, they provided amazing services and had amazing employees.
The Kilele lodge where I stayed as my lodging also had a very kind and generous staff. They did my laundry for free, and we always had delicious lunches together. I extended my trip, but I didn't have to pay any additional fees for lodging.
In addition, I misplaced my bag in Zanzibar, but thanks to Adidas, I was able to retrieve it in just two days.
As a young Asian girl, traveling alone can be intimidating at times, but Tanzania was a very safe and friendly country, and it is without a doubt my favorite country I've ever visited.
Thank you to everyone at Chiefs Tours and Kilele Lodge who treated me like their daughter and sister, and it was an honor to be a part of their family.
The last three weeks in Tanzania were the happiest moment of my life, and I made many unforgettable memories there.
If you are planning a trip to Tanzania, especially if you want to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, book your trip with this incredible company! You, like me, would start a new family in Tanzania!
