Trip Overview
On this 8-day camping safari adventure! Your journey begins at Kilimanjaro International Airport with a transfer to Kilele Lodge in Moshi for an overnight stay. After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park for two days of game drives, exploring its tree-climbing lions, elephants, and diverse birdlife. Next, continue to Serengeti National Park, spending three days on game drives and enjoying picnic lunches amid the vast plains. On day seven, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in this unique ecosystem. The adventure concludes with a drive back to Arusha and a transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
Itinerary
Your Tanzanian adventure starts with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our representative will welcome you and transfer you to Moshi for an overnight stay. Relax and get acclimated at Kilele Lodge, with dinner and breakfast included. Take this time to rest and look forward to your safari journey, which begins tomorrow.
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, about 4 hours away. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, and diverse birdlife. We’ll spend two days exploring the park with game drives. Stay overnight at Endabash Public Campsite.
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Serengeti National Park, a journey of approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you’ll focus on exploring its vast plains for the next three days. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. In Central Serengeti, the most popular region of the park, you’ll have a chance to see abundant wildlife, including large numbers of big cats, all set against the backdrop of acacia-studded savanna. Overnight stays will be at Seronera Public Campsite.
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, and we’ll drive to your campsite at Ngorongoro Conservation Area for approximately 3 hours. Overnight stay at Simba Campsite A near the Crater rim.
After breakfast, enjoy a short game drive to explore Ngorongoro Crater, witnessing its unique ecosystem and diverse wildlife. In the afternoon we’ll drive back to Arusha town, for about 4 hours, and enjoy lunch on the way. Our adventure concludes as we transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
