At the helm of Chiefs Tours is our visionary founder and Managing Director, Adidas. A seasoned professional with over four decades of experience, Adidas is a certified Mountain and Safari guide who has conquered Kilimanjaro countless times, earning him the rightful title of “Chief of Kilimanjaro Climbing.” His expertise is deeply rooted in his education at Mweka College of African Wildlife Management.
Lead Mount Kilimanjaro Guide
Emmanuel Mariki
With a guiding career spanning over a decade, beginning in 2012, our lead guide has successfully led over 400 climbers to the summit of Kilimanjaro. Before embarking on his guiding journey, he dedicated 11 years to honing his mountaineering skills as a porter. Emmanuel holds no particular preference for any Kilimanjaro route, he is a true Kilimanjaro hero.

Julias Minja
Julias Minja has been climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for over 30 years. He is not only a lead Kilimanjaro guide, but also an instructor with extensive mountaineering experience having climbed Mountains not only in Tanzania, but also in Kenya, Uganda, USA, and France. At Chiefs Tours, he is the head of guides.
