Begin your day with a departure from your hotel or meeting point in Moshi, making sure to pack comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, a camera, and a water bottle. Arrive in Materuni Village, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, and meet your local guide who will take you on a tour.

 Start with a visit to the local coffee plantation, where you will learn about the coffee-making process from bean to cup and have the opportunity to participate in roasting and grinding the coffee beans. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee made from the beans you helped process while taking in the beautiful scenery.

 Next, begin the hike to Materuni Waterfalls. The trail is moderately challenging and offers lush greenery, local flora, and occasional wildlife sightings. Reach the stunning 80-meter high Materuni Waterfalls, where you can admire the falls, take photos, and possibly take a refreshing dip in the pool at the base of the falls.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the waterfall before starting the hike back to Materuni Village.
