Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha/Moshi
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our safari coordinator will welcome you and transfer you to your lodge. You will receive a briefing about the safari, and we will check your camping equipment and sleeping bag. You will also have the opportunity to select your preferred meals for the trip. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park – The Elephant Paradise
After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up, and your safari begins with a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its large elephant herds and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife even during the dry season. Expect to see wildebeest, zebras, elands, Oryx, and lions. After an exciting game drive, dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Tree-Climbing Lions & Flamingos
After breakfast, we drive 2 hours to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Here, you may spot tree-climbing lions, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, zebras, and flocks of flamingos at the alkaline lake. Enjoy a scenic game drive, then check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park – The Endless Plains
This morning, we set off for the legendary Serengeti National Park, with game viewing en route. Arrive at the lodge for lunch, check-in, and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the world-renowned Serengeti. The park is home to the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move in search of fresh grazing land. After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 5: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti – The Great Migration
Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti, following the herds of wildebeest and zebras, which attract predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. The vast landscape is also home to elephants, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, with an overnight stay at Angata Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro – Sunrise Game Drive & Crater Highlands
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, the best time to see predators hunting and the breathtaking African sunrise. After the game drive, return to camp for brunch, then head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Known as the 8th Natural Wonder of the World, the crater floor is a natural wildlife haven, home to the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. Enjoy a scenic drive through the crater highlands before checking in at your lodge.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – The Ultimate Safari Experience
Early morning, descend 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This enclosed ecosystem supports one of the densest populations of wildlife in Africa. Spot lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and flamingos in the soda lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha or Moshi, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
